Yufei Li is a senior data analyst at the Partnered Evidence-based Policy Resource Center (PEPReC) at Boston VA and a doctoral student in the Health Services and Policy Research program at Boston University School of Public Health. Her research focuses on health workforce issues, such as hiring, productivity, turnover, and well-being of health professionals, as well as geographic variations in recruitment and retention. She has authored several papers using causal inference approach to evaluate the impact of residency training programs at the VA on recruitment, productivity, and turnover of health workforce. Prior to joining Boston University, Yufei received an MPH in applied epidemiology and biostatistics from Brown University and a BS in psychology from Beijing Normal University. During her master’s program, she worked as a research fellow at the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) and published a paper on the 340B drug pricing program.
