Overview

AcademyHealth has been actively promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the health services and policy research (HSR) workforce for several years. Recent developments in the field of HSR have accelerated our interest in updating and improving research methods to address structural racism and promote health equity.

This workshop prepares and encourages researchers to build on their current skills in all areas of HSR and apply established and innovative methods and techniques to reduce structural racism and bias in their work. After attending the workshop, we hope participants will promote and demonstrate the value of these approaches to their colleagues and institutions.

Please Note: Recordings of each session are located in the agenda listed below.
