Sylvia Hobbs is the Associate Director of Data Strategy and User Support for the Massachusetts Center for Health Information and Analysis. For 12 years, she worked as the Director of Research and Evaluation for the State Office of Emergency Medical Services and served as the National Association of State Emergency Medical Services Officials’ liaison to the Federal GAO on highway information systems. She has a special interest in strategic multi-stakeholder partnerships across federal, state, and private sectors aimed at improving state-level health data infrastructure, policies, and health outcomes. She holds a Master of Public Health degree in epidemiology and biostatistics from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree in French literature from Oberlin College.
