Claire A. Pernat, M.Phil., is a doctoral student and an AHRQ T-32 fellow in the Department of Health Law, Policy, and Management at the Boston University School of Public Health. Her research interests revolve around preventive health services and health disparities, with a particular focus on immigrant and refugee health and access to preventive healthcare services such as vaccination. Prior to her enrollment at Boston University, she conducted research in the field of health services and public health at various institutions, including NORCE--Norwegian Research Centre, Massachusetts General Hospital's Cancer Center, Department of Surgery, and Institute of Health Professions, as well as the University of Minnesota's Program in Health Disparities Research. Claire holds a B.A. in Community Health from Tufts University and an M.Phil. in Global Development with a specialization in Health Promotion from the University of Bergen in Bergen, Norway.
