Dr. Li is an Assistant Professor at Emory University's Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, with a secondary appointment in the Department of Dermatology at Emory's School of Medicine. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has completed post-doctoral work at the University of Florida. Her research, funded by NIH, AHRQ, and CDC, focuses on health workforce issues. Dr. Li has published widely on nurse work environments, staffing, and patient outcomes. Dr. Li is dedicated to translating research into actionable strategies to enhance the health and well-being of healthcare workers.
