Dr. Salehizadeh has nearly 20 years of healthcare operational and investment experience. He currently serves as managing director and co-founder at NaviMed Capital, an investment firm based in Washington, DC where he focuses on growth capital and private equity healthcare investments in healthcare IT and healthcare services.
Prior to co-founding NaviMed, he was a General Partner at Highland Capital Partners, a multi-billion dollar investment firm where he led or worked on many of the firm’s healthcare transactions for nearly a decade.
He is currently on the board of directors and advisory committees of numerous private healthcare companies including CenterPointe Behavioral Health System and Procured Health.
Dr. Salehizadeh holds an A.B. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University, an M.D. and Master’s in Science in Healthcare Policy from Columbia University, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He is also a graduate of the Kauffman Fellows Program.
