Shruti Gautam is a Health Policy Intern at AcademyHealth. She assists in the outreach, maintenance, and marketing for HSRProj, an online health services research database funded by the National Library of Medicine. In addition, she works with the EDM Forum program team and AcademyHealth’s open access journal eGEMs, which seeks to accelerate research and quality improvement using electronic health data. Her role includes assisting with the review process for submissions to the journal.
Prior to joining AcademyHealth, Ms. Gautam worked as Business Office Assistant at Children’s Manor Montessori where she was responsible for auditing, and writing marketing material for the school. She also has a background in research from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and Banaras Hindu University. Ms. Gautam is currently pursuing her Bachelors of Science in Physiology and Neurobiology and the University of Maryland, College Park.
