Rate Descriptions and Criteria


ACADEMYHEALTH MEMBER RATE 

Active members of AcademyHealth receive a discounted registration rate. Membership must be current at the time of the meeting. Renew your membership or join AcademyHealth to receive the discount. If you have questions about membership, call Member Services at 202.292.6700. View Membership Page » 

ORGANIZATIONAL MEMBER RATE 

AcademyHealth organizational members receive discounted rates for up to five individual registrants for affiliates, 10 registrants for supporting affiliates, and 15 registrants for contributing affiliates. To register online, select the individual, non-member rate, and apply your organizational member discount code to receive the reduced rate. 

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT 

To qualify for the federal government agency rate, you must be employed by the federal government and must register using your .gov e-mail address. This offer is not valid for government-funded or government-sponsored organizations/universities, or local or state government agencies. 

DEVELOPER RATE 

Early stage/funding startups may request a discounted registration fee for up to two individuals. To request the developer rate, email registrations@academyhealth.org, providing a brief background on the company and its objectives/products, funding stream(s), and any additional relevant information. 

Must be approved for the developer rate prior to registering. 

PATIENT AND PATIENT ADVOCATE RATE 

We have a reduced rate for full-time patient advocates. Please email registrations@academyhealth.org and tell us the name, mission, and website of your organization for the reduced rate. A limited number of scholarships will be offered to support patient participation at the Health Datapalooza. 

Must be approved for patient rate prior to registering. 

GROUP RATE 

Five or more registrations submitted from the same organization may receive a group rate; please note that group rate discounts are applied per registrant.  To qualify, all registrations must be submitted at the same time. To request the group rate, email registrations@academyhealth.org

RECEIPTS & CONFIRMATIONS 

Detailed receipts are available upon request. If you would like one, please send a request to registrations@academyhealth.org. Payment receipts will be sent to the email address provided on the registration form. Receipts can also be found in the Purchase History via your AcademyHealth profile.   

CANCELLATION POLICY 

Cancellations for 2023 Health Datapalooza registration must be received in writing by January 25 in order to receive a refund, less the $100 processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after January 25. Registration fees for cancelled registrants may not be applied to future AcademyHealth Meetings.

Registrants who are unable to travel due to COVID-19 may also contact registrations@academyhealth.org to discuss options. 

SUBSTITUTIONS 

All substitutions will be assessed a $50 processing fee. Substitutions will be accepted only once per registrant and must include written notification from the original registrant and a completed registration form for the substitute participant. If a non-member substitutes for a member, the non-member rate applies. Requests should be sent to registrations@academyhealth.org

**ATTENDEE LIST SCAM** 

We have been notified that scammers may be targeting our meeting attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors, attempting to sell attendee lists. AcademyHealth does not rent or sell email lists to third parties, with some exceptions consistent with accepted practices for most professional societies. See our privacy policy to learn more. 

ACADEMYHEALTH CODE OF CONDUCT 

AcademyHealth is committed to providing a safe, hospitable, and productive environment for everyone attending our meetings and events. We are committed to providing a harassment-free environment for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, religion, disability, physical appearance, or other group identity. As such, AcademyHealth prohibits intimidating, threatening or harassing conduct during or in connection with our meetings and events based on these and any other protected characteristics under applicable federal, state or local law. This includes but is not limited to stalking, intimidation, unwanted or inappropriate contact, unwelcome sexual attention, harassing photography or recording, and sustained disruption of events, as well as encouraging any such behavior by others. This prohibition applies to all participants, including attendees, speakers, staff, exhibitors, and volunteers. If an individual engages in any prohibited behavior as described in this Code, AcademyHealth reserves the right to remove the individual from the meeting or event without warning or refund, prohibit attendance at future AcademyHealth meetings and events, notify the individual’s employer, and/or take other disciplinary action against the individual and his/her employer. Retaliation for reporting prohibited behavior under this Code is considered a violation of this Code, as is reporting an incident in bad faith. 

CONDUCT REQUIREMENTS DURING COVID-19 

AcademyHealth is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all event participants and staff. In addition to our Code of Conduct, all participants are expected to adhere to and abide by the safety precautions AcademyHealth has implemented to protect against the spread of COVID-19 such as producing proof of vaccination, social distancing, mask wearing, adherence to health and safety signage, self-monitoring, and self-reporting. As with our Code of Conduct, refusal to adhere to these policies and abide by these precautions may result in immediate removal from an AcademyHealth event and cancellation of the registration, without receiving a refund.
