This series will disseminate innovative research, share best practices for conducting impactful community-focused studies, and highlight diverse career pathways within health equity. Each webinar will include an academic and community partner.
We seek nominations from health equity scholars in collaboration with community partners advancing community-engaged health equity research aiming to improve the health of historically marginalized populations. Our main considerations include:
Equity focused research that goes beyond a health disparities framework
- Representation from community partners and voices in the research and webinar
- Rigorous and appropriate scientific methods for type of research being studied
