The series addresses how to read and evaluate important studies in HSR, with attendtion to HSR's role guiding evidence-based health care practice and policy. Part I discusses how to identify appropriate research designs for descriptive, exploratory, and confirmatory analyses and how to asses the merit of existing studies to inform evidence-based practice and policy. Part II reviews the core analytic tools that support quality and performance measurement for health care systems improvement efforts. Level: 101.
