The seminar is designed for researchers whose current or potential areas of research interest encompass the effects of law on population health, health care financing or delivery systems, or the process, outcome, or quality of health care. The panel addresses the use of legal methods in a research context, exploring approaches to research endeavors that involve measurement analysis, and the analysis and interpretation of the meaning of statutes, regulations, and judicial opinions. The panel includes a lively discussion of law-related research as well as strategies for developing interdisciplinary undertakings that explore the implications of health policy reforms that involve law.
