Beth Giambrone is a Senior Analyst on the State Health Policy team at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), where she contributes her expertise in public health policy and state legislative analysis for identification and development of ASTHO's projects. Her recent projects include policy academies on breastfeeding, maternal & child health, and food safety, as well as legislative research and policy analysis on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). She also leads an internal workgroup focusing on a particular public health issue every quarter and demonstrating how different policy levers work together to form the general policy landscape, as well as manages ASTHO’s Health Policy Update Series highlighting key health policy issues in the states. Before ASTHO, Beth was a Legislative Associate for the National Governors Association, where she aligned the governors’ priorities with federal and congressional representatives and served on the US Department of Agriculture and Interior's Wildland Fire Executive Council. 

Beth holds a Master of Public Policy degree from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Drew University.
