Eline Lenne, BA, MOT (she/they) is a Social Work & Social Research PhD student in the School of Social Work at Portland State University. She is an NIH TL1 trainee, a licensed clinical occupational therapist, a doula, and a graduate research assistant. They earned a BA from Lewis & Clark College in Sociology & Anthropology and a Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of Minnesota, where they were the Mary Louise Wales fellow for their commitment to improving children’s health. Their research bridges public health, and social policy, with a focus on social determinants of health for children and families. She was awarded the 2023 Child Health Services Research Student Scholarship related to her work on improving gender affirming pediatric care for prepubescent transgender and gender diverse children.
