Jean O’Connor, J.D., M.P.H., DrPH is a public health lawyer and leader with more than 25 years of experience in public health policy, population health, and government, with a focus on improving health outcomes through policy. With her consulting firm, Econometrica, she is the project director for the CMS Medicaid School Based Services Technical Assistance Center. In prior positions, she held senior roles at a Federally Qualified Health Center, State-level public health departments, and at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. With the State of Georgia as the Chronic Disease Prevention Director, she oversaw adolescent and school health and worked to expand access to school health services. She is also a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, and she teaches part time at Emory University and the University of Georgia in public health.
