Kristen is the Founder and CEO of b.well Connected Health - a platform that puts the consumer at the center of their healthcare.
Most recently, Kristen was the VP of Government Claims and XLHealth at United Healthcare. Prior to her role at United, Kristen ran Operations and Technology for one of the first private Medicare plans in our country focused on the chronically ill and underserved, Care Improvement Plus. In her role, Kristen helped to stand up the core operations and technology of the health plan and scaled the plan to 12 operating states prior to its acquisition by United Health Group in late 2010 for a record $2.4 billion.
Kristen began her career in the financial services industry at T. Rowe Price. She then moved into the Medicare and Medicaid space focusing on program reform and cost containment efforts. Kristen was part of the teams that stood up the first program safeguard contracts focused on fraud, waste, and abuse detection programs across Medicare and Medicaid for CMS.
