Mary Mulrooney is an Assistant Research Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy. In this role, Dr. Mulrooney’s research focuses include comprehensive medication management, value and impact evaluations of primary care pharmacists, and medication use and safety. Dr. Mulrooney is a graduate of the University of Connecticut’s Doctor of Pharmacy program and Master of Business Administration program. In addition, she completed a Fellowship in Primary Care Pharmacy Transformation at the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy. As a fellow, Dr. Mulrooney worked as a Technical Assistance Project Lead funded by the CT State Innovation Model (SIM) to support several provider organizations within the state. Her role primarily involved the development and implementation of new care delivery models for the integration of pharmacists in patient-centered, team-based primary care settings, particularly for chronic disease medication optimization and management.
