Dr. Schelomo Marmor is an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota in the Department of Surgery and Division of Surgical Oncology. He is the Co-Director of the Center for Clinical Quality & Outcomes Discovery and Evaluation (C-QODE). His research focuses of surgical quality and outcomes His primary research approach is the application of health services methodology to surgical oncology outcomes, patient care and big data research within the team science framework. His expertise in health data analytics and outcomes research involving the analysis of large, complex data sets such as Medicare, claims and survey data allows him to work on team science initiatives. His team science research group focuses on improving patient care and research address real-world healthcare delivery challenges. His multi-disciplinary approach is focused on population-level outcomes research that translates to public health.
