Sijiu Wang, Ph.D., is a post-doc scholar in health services research at the University of Chicago Biological Sciences Division Department of Public Health Sciences. She is passionate about conducting research that improves long-term care and post-acute care for vulnerable older adults. Her research is mainly focused on understanding provider and system-level factors that may affect access and quality of care received among older adults while they age. She is especially interested in the impact of Medicaid policies related to Medicaid Home- and Community-Based Services (HCBS) on care access, utilization, and quality received by the population that is dually enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid. Dr. Wang received her Ph.D. in Health Services Research & Policy from the University of Rochester.
