Since June 2022, Stan Dorn has directed the Health Policy Project for UnidosUS, the nation’s largest Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization. Stan has worked on health policy issues at the state and federal levels for more than 30 years, focusing primarily on coverage and access to care for historically disadvantaged communities. Before coming to UnidosUS, Stan led the National Center for Coverage Innovation at Families USA, one of the country’s leading consumer health advocacy groups. His previous work included serving as Senior Fellow at the Urban Institute’s Health Policy Center, Health Division Director at the Children’s Defense Fund, and Managing Attorney of the National Health Law Program’s Washington office. Stan is a graduate of Harvard College and the University of California at Berkeley School of Law.
