Dr. Lewis received her Doctorate degree in Osteopathic Medicine from Oklahoma State University (OSU); her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma (OU); and is a proud graduate of the prestigious Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, OK. Dr. Lewis is a medical professional who is committed to serving communities across a wide spectrum of society, and her practice is devoted to working with families and assisting patients in medical care spanning from before the miracle of birth in her practice in obstetrics and gynecology, to achieving a lifetime of health via general practice. Before returning to her native Oklahoma in 2006, she was honored to work with the University of Texas at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin where she was selected to a Fellowship in High Risk Obstetrics.  Upon returning to Oklahoma, Dr. Lewis practiced at the OU Department Of Family Medicine in Obstetrics. And currently, she is the Director of the Women’s Center at OSU where she is also an Associate Professor.  Internationally, Dr. Lewis has participated in humanitarian missions in Guatemala, Uganda, Nicaragua and Bolivia; and locally, in addition to her practice, Dr. Lewis is committed to giving back by serving on numerous health-focused committees, including those addressing health disparities of underserved communities.
