Rachel Rosales is a doctoral student in Health Services Research (with a concentration in Health Economics) at Brown University School of Public Health. She is a budding health economist with interests in Medicaid policy evaluation and health care access among marginalized populations, particularly children. Prior to Rachel’s doctoral studies, she was an Associate Program Manager for Massachusetts’s Medicaid program and a Senior Medicaid Policy Analyst at Community Catalyst. Her work has focused on evaluating the intersection of accessibility and health outcomes for underserved populations.

Ms. Rosales is a 2024 AcademyHealth Diversity Scholar.
