Below you will find information about health and safety protocols for the 2025 Annual Research Meeting. Leading up to the event, AcademyHealth will be closely monitoring local conditions, risk factors, and applicable laws, regulations, and guidance. Because these factors are frequently changing, we will continue to update this page as new guidance is released.
Vaccine Requirements
Though providing proof of vaccination is not required to attend the conference, AcademyHealth encourages all attendees, staff, and contractors to have up to date COVID-19 vaccinations prior to the meeting date to keep all participants as safe as possible.
Masks
AcademyHealth supports the use of masks in indoor spaces to reduce the risk of spreading of a variety of illnesses, including COVID-19. While masks are optional, AcademyHealth expects all attendees to respect and support the masking decisions of others.
Additional Health and Safety Protocols
All attendees, exhibitors, vendors, and staff should:
- Not enter the meeting space if they are experiencing any flu-like symptoms;
- Wash hands often with soap for at least 20 seconds and/or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer;
- Avoid touching their eyes, nose, and mouths with unwashed hands; and
- Engage in additional responsible health and safety practices, inside and outside of the conference.
