Dr. Bryan Dowd is the Mayo Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the Division of Health Services Research and Policy at the School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota. He has been at the University of Minnesota since 1980 where he teaches health services research methods and health policy analysis. Dr. Dowd has published over 100 articles, books and book chapters on his primary research interests, which include employment-based health insurance, Medicare policy and evaluation of non-experimental data. He is the Chair of AcademyHealth's Methods Council.
