Jeffery Talbert is the Schutte Professor of Pharmaceutical Policy in the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. He is director of the Institute for Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy, the associate director of the Center for Clinical and Translational Science and co-director for Biomedical Informatics. His research specialization is health services research focused at the intersection of evidence-based policy and health care outcomes, with most work on public health informatics and substance use disorder outcomes.

Jeffery Talbert is a 2019 grantee of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Health Data for Action program, managed by AcademyHealth.
