MaryAnn Mood is a senior policy analyst on the Aging and Disability Studies team at The Hilltop Institute, where she dedicates her time to providing policy and analytical support to the Maryland Department of Health (the Department) and the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA). MaryAnn earned her MA in applied sociology, with a concentration in health policy. MaryAnn has extensive experience with Medicaid home and community-based services (HCBS) and serves as project lead for the Department’s 1115 Waiver Pilot Project on Assistance in Community Integration Services (ACIS). This role has enabled MaryAnn to focus on social determinants of health, specifically the relationship between housing and health. For the DDA, MaryAnn serves as project manager and provides expertise regarding available data to assist in data-driven decisions to enhance program operations.
