Thomas Tsai M.D.,M.P.H is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and Assistant Professor in Health Policy and Management at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He co-directs the Healthcare Quality and Outcomes Lab at HSPH. He is a practicing minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgeon at Brigham and Women’s Hospital where he serves as the Director of Clinical Care Redesign Dr. Tsai previously served as Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation at HHS in the Obama Administration and the Testing and Treatment Coordinator on the White House COVID-19 Response Team in the Biden Administration.
