Using Health Data

Managed by AcademyHealth, this learning network facilitates peer-to-peer learning and dialogue among researchers working with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid’s T-MSIS Analytic Files.

With funding from a Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Award, AcademyHealth and a group of diverse stakeholders are identifying evidence gaps related to person-generated data; setting priorities for future studies; and providing insights into personal technology preferences that can inform the development of future consumer-facing tools.

With support from the HHS’ Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, AcademyHealth’s Evidence-Informed State Health Policy Institute and NORC are exploring state-level data approaches to improve patient-centered maternal health outcomes.
