Jaime Adler is a Senior Manager at AcademyHealth where her work focuses on disseminating and implementing evidence to improve health systems. Her portfolio spans topics including building state-level capacity for data sharing; patient-centered clinical decision support innovation; and initiatives related to primary care, pediatrics (children and youth with special health care needs and children with medical complexity), and school-based mental health.
Jaime has focused her career on improving the health of communities who have been historically underserved. Prior to joining AcademyHealth, Jaime worked at the American Cancer Society on quality improvement initiatives with safety net health systems. She previously worked on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed) evaluation team at the University of California Nutrition Policy Institute; on the implementation of health behavior campaigns at a social marketing firm; and as the communications director for a state senator.
Jaime holds an M.P.H. from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health and an M.S. in Communication from Clark University. Jaime is an active member of her Oakland, CA community and you can find her teaching community yoga classes and volunteering at the public library.
