Emmilie Aveling, Ph.D., M. Phil., is a Lecturer on Health Research and Qualitative Methods at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in the Department of Health Policy and Management. She specializes in applied qualitative research in the fields of global public health, community health and health care quality and safety. Her research focuses primarily on community-engaged and collaborative approaches to tackling health inequities and delivering high-quality, patient-centered health services. Emmilie teaches multiple courses on qualitative research methods at the Harvard School of Public Health.
