For over twenty years, Jenni Lane has worked in the field of social justice and health equity. She has significant experience in leading program development across the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and national dissemination, most recently leading the development of Weitzman’s Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion: Organizational Change Series for Leaders. Lane champions evidence- and equity-driven approaches, human-centered problem-solving, and adult learning principles to drive change. In her role as Assistant Director of Training and Technical Assistance at the Weitzman Institute, Lane advances Weitzman’s mission to improve health outcomes for historically and currently medically underserved and marginalized patient populations through primary care innovation, specifically through the development of CME/CE activities and quality improvement initiatives for primary care providers and care teams at Federally Qualified Health Centers and other safety net centers across the US. Lane has received numerous awards for her work, including the Partnership Award from the Institute for Patient and Family-Centered Care, the University of Michigan DEI Innovator Award, Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Innovative Program Award, and the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine’s Millar Award for Innovative Approaches.
