Megan Coffinbargar is the Project Manager for the Optimizing Virtual Care Initiative at Community Health Center, Inc. (CHCI). In March of 2022, HRSA awarded Community Health Center, Inc. with the Optimizing Virtual Care Grant. As one of only 29 organizations throughout the country receiving this award, CHCI plans to address one of the most pressing needs to arise from the pandemic — additional support for patients’ behavioral health (including substance use disorder) across their lifespans. Megan works in tandem with clinical and administrative leaders to create and innovate with new models of virtual care that advance access and impact health outcomes with a particular focus on improving access to and quality of behavioral health services. Prior to starting in her project management role, Megan was the 2021-2022 Community Health Center, Inc. Administrative Fellow. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Health, Society, and Populations and completed a subsequent master’s program in Health Administration at the University of Illinois Chicago.
