Timothy Elwell serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Qualidigm, responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the company while spearheading the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies to secure the organization’s sustainability and business development potential.
Prior to Qualidigm, Tim served in executive roles at Misys Corporation, IBM, Columbia University, Raytel Medical, Medtronic, and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is presently on the boards of Qualidigm, Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement (NRHI), eHealthConnecticut (Connecticut’s Regional Extension Center), the Connecticut Choosing Wisely Collaborative and is a corporator at CT Community Care, Inc.
He serves as an advisor and mentor to students at UCONN and Quinnipiac and was an adjunct professor at UCONN, where he taught leadership and business modeling in the Doctorate of Nursing Practice Program. He has also served as a guest lecturer at Quinnipiac and the UCONN Business Programs. Tim is a recognized expert on leadership and leadership theory.
Tim graduated from the City University of New York at Baruch College with an M.B.A. in General Management and an undergraduate degree from Siena College in Biology. He earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University. His chosen dissertation topic examined the relationship between emotional intelligence and the creation of trust in accountable care organization (ACO) leaders’ teams.
