Virginia Sun, PhD, RN is an Associate Professor in the Department of Population Sciences and the Department of Surgery at City of Hope. Her research is focused on developing and testing interventions to improve outcomes and healthcare delivery for patients with cancer and their support persons/informal caregivers. This program of research is specifically focused on solid malignancies, cancer surgery, cancer survivorship, and older adults with cancer.
Dr. Sun is the 2021 NCI/AcademyHealth Healthcare Delivery Research Visiting Scholar.
