AcademyHealth programs are led by our expert staff, supported by funding from a variety of partners, and all aimed at improving health and the health system. An alphabetical list of both past and current activities is below. Efforts include learning, translation and dissemination, technical assistance, professional services, as well as stakeholder engagement and community building.

Vaccine Access Cooperative (VAC) Regional Meetings and Federal Roundtable

AcademyHealth, in collaboration with NASHP and AIM, hosted and facilitated 8 regional meetings across the United States that convened state-level decision makers and cross-sector immunization partners with an overarching goal of increasing COVID-19 vaccination rates for children under 5. At the conclusion of the regional meetings, AcademyHealth and NASHP facilitated a roundtable with key state and federal leaders to distill lessons learned and support thought leadership for future federal funding opportunities.

Vaccine Information Sharing and Education Resource (VISER) Network

The Vaccine Information Sharing and Education Resource (VISER) Network, funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is a collaborative effort between AcademyHealth, the Association of Immunization Managers (AIM), and the National Academy of State Health Policy (NASHP) to provide immunization leaders with resources and promising practices for improving immunization rates for vaccine-preventable respiratory diseases across the lifespan.
