Khadeejat Lawal is an Intern at AcademyHealth, where she conducts evaluations of AcademyHealth mentorship, fellowship, and scholarship programs. Additionally, she assists with development of plans to enhance the engagement of AcademyHealth student chapters. Previously, she worked as a Community Advocacy Intern with ViuHealth and as a Research Assistant at Virginia Tech, where she graduated with a B.S. in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise Science in May 2023. She is currently obtaining her Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and working as a Graduate Research Assistant with the North Carolina Translational and Clinical Sciences Institute.
