Marisa Conte is a Ph.D. candidate in Health Infrastructures and Learning Systems in the Department of Learning Health Sciences (DLHS), University of Michigan Medical School, and has recently joined DLHS as a Research Area Specialist Lead on the Knowledge Grid team. Her research interests involve the sociotechnical infrastructure needed for knowledge creation and dissemination in healthcare and health research contexts. Her current work is focused on computable biomedical knowledge objects, specifically computable phenotypes derived from electronic health records.
