Evidence to Action: Improving Safety, Quality, and Value Theme Sessions at the 2024 Annual Research Meeting

Improving health care safety, quality, and value is national priority. At the 2024 Annual Research Meeting in Baltimore this June 29-July 2, the Improving Safety, Quality, and Value Theme Sessions will feature research focused on innovative approaches to advance quality of care in the U.S., from the application of novel technologies to payment reform.

Enhancing Systems of Care for Children with Medical Complexity (CMC) Coordinating Center

AcademyHealth, in partnership with Boston Children’s Hospital, FamilyVoices, the University of California San Francisco, Patient Advocate Foundation, and the American Academy of Pediatrics, is leading a Coordinating Center to support five Health Resources & Services Administration (HSRA)-funded demonstration sites to optimize the health and well-being for children with medical complexity and their families while also achieving health equity for these populations.

AcademyHealth Announces 2024 Award Recipients

This year’s honorees highlight work related to health equity, health system reforms, and access to care. The awards include a new Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion award, which recognizes organized groups within health services and policy research (HSR) that have created a more diverse, inclusive, just, and welcoming experience and sense of community for their employees and/or members.
