One way AcademyHealth works to improve both the supply and quality of health services research is by assessing the skills and composition of the HSR workforce, and building programs that respond to emerging needs. Situation Reports & Virtual Events

In February 2025 AcademyHealth launched regular updates to provide clarity and insight for the field during a period of rapid change at the federal level. In addition to published updates, AcademyHealth began hosting members-only, virtual town halls with President and CEO, Aaron Carroll, and Director of Advocacy, Josh Caplan. Town halls will provide a chance to engage with AcademyHealth leadership, ask questions, and connect with fellow members.
